Outdoor Yoga

Outdoor yoga provides its own unique flavor to your yoga practice! It allows not only the meditative motion of a normal yoga practice but also incorporates the connection to nature. Having the beauty of the sky above, the earth beneath, and the freshness of the air all around; outdoor yoga can be a deeper experience of yoga.

The intention of our outdoor yoga practice is to bring the joy of yoga to the community. This class is welcoming to all bodies, all ages, and all experience levels. From absolute beginners to the more experienced, this yoga class is for you! Modifications are offered during class to help allow this class to be accessible to all.

Our outdoor yoga class is greatly influenced by the Vinyasa style. Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another in connection to the breath. It is commonly referred to as “flow” yoga. Each class generally offers an intention and meditation at the beginning and end of class with a full sequence of yoga postures in between. The focus of the postures is to help people build strength, increase flexibility, and improve their balance.
